Dr. Marissa Ramirez grew up in Holland where she attended Council Rock High School South. She received her bachelors degree in Biology from Temple University and her Masters degree in Veterinary Biomedical Sciences as well as Veterinary Degree from Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee. After veterinary school, she completed a fellowship in emergency medicine at Mount Laurel Animal Hospital in New Jersey.
Main Street Animal Hospital has always felt at home for Dr. Ramirez. She started her veterinary career as a veterinary technician at MSAH in 2012 and continued to follow her dream becoming an associate veterinarian at the practice In 2022. Establishing a long term relationship with both pet and owner is very important to Dr. Ramirez. She is excited to build on the relationships that she made as a technician and form new relationships as a veterinarian. Dr. Ramirez has a special interest in integrative medicine, surgery, ultrasound, and behavior.
Dr. Ramirez comes from a big family. Her home is filled with love between her Husband, Alex, new baby boy, Luca, greyhounds, Kira and Bandit and rabbits, Pumpkin and Bean. Dr. Ramirez enjoys spending time with family and friends, riding horses, going to the beach and working out.
